Atlarve Jokerleri — The Ice Horse Race

The Ice Horse race, Action from the White Turf racing event at St Moritz in Switzerland, The biggest attraction on the Swiss frozen lake was a race where men on skis were pulled along the track by thoroughbreds.

It's one of those unusual challenges and dates back to 1906 where 13 men harnessed their horses and then snapped on their skis to be dragged at a hair raising gallop from the Postplattz in St Moritz to Champfer and back.
