These celebrities should have checked a mirror before walking the red carpet with their makeup mishaps.
Putting on makeup can be a form of art, and sometimes Hollywood doesn't quite create the masterpiece it intended. For instance, Miley Cyrus may have looked perfect in her photo as No. 1 on Maxim's Hot 100 list, but the star took a beauty misstep on May 15 for the party celebrating the honour. The 20-year-old singer rocked a two-toned Valentino jumpsuit, but also, inadvertently, some two-toned makeup. It appears she forgot to blend the white powder around her chin, which clashed with the tan foundation on the rest of her face. Oops! less
What would Daisy Buchanan think? Carey Mulligan was a smudge less than perfect at the opening ceremony of Cannes on Wednesday. The actress was there to promote "The Great Gatsby," in which she plays the eponymous hero's beautiful (and flawless) love interest. Pretty in Dior pink, Mulligan also inadvertently sported a little glob of lotion on her arm.
In January 2012, Osbourne could have been a subject on her own show, "Fashion Police," when she wore some lemon-coloured foundation to the "Art of Elysium" charity event.
Miley Cyrus isn't the only one to have a powder mishap. In 2009, Nicole Kidman showed up to the premiere of "Nine" in New York with white marks all over her face.

And it's not just the women who have to be concerned about their cosmetics. As Jon Hamm proved at The Paley Center for Media's Annual Los Angeles Benefit in 2012, even Don Draper is sometimes powerless in the face of powder.
