The Ugly side: Fashion hall of shame

Each week we bring you celebrities and their massive style snafus. This time is no different than before, if not worse with some classic cases of repeat offenders.

He's celebrating his time in the film industry but Aamir Khan is certainly not celebrating fashion in this heinous getup.

Once a pretty face in Indian cinema, known as Arti Gupta, Arti Surendranath has since moved on to bigger things in life, and how. We spotted her dressed as the scarlet woman, in an outfit that popped, or rather an outfit she popped out of.

Keeping up with her trend of nightmarish fashion, Arti shows up in a bright orange, silk cut-out poncho.

Here she is again, proving her never ending love for loud fashion that is not age appropriate. Why, Arti, why?

Shocker, this one! Chitrangada stopped to pose for cameras on her way to a stage performance. Even for the arc lights, this one's hard on the eyes! From dolled up diva to dressed down Marathi mulgi, what a conversion!

A has-been star whose most recent appearance left us thinking of a layered wedding cake, Hrishita Bhatt really needs a stylist.

In this week's fashion hall of shame, fashion designer Kunal Rawal makes an appearance. He's dressed the stars, but somehow forgets to dress himself when he steps out.

Hmmm, she's starred in a movie called Fashion and is a model herself, but somehow Mugdha Godse prefers to show up on the red carpet looking like the shiny disco ball that was stolen from Studio 54.

Always on our radar for her strange sense of dressing, this one's a sober appearance for Nisha Jamvwal. But too much of cleavage and a strategically placed pendant leave room for much to be improved.

Here's the tricky bit. For those unfamiliar with this person, it's a bit of a gender bender. 'Fashion designer' Rohhit Verma's bizarre fashion sensibilities and overly made up face are a combination for disaster. Don't get us started on the clothes he 'designs'.

Just cos zebra stripes are in, it don't mean they work for everyone. In some cases, its more jailbird than anything. Socialite Sharmilla Khanna cuts one such figure.

Singer Sona Mohapatra's eccentric style sense is often edmirable, but in this case, it's a horrid cross between bizarre and boring.

Spotted: A brinjal on the red carpet! Sona Mohapatra cuts a life-size, violently violet figure. Flattering it is not.
Maybe its because we're so used to seeing her hardly clothed that seeing Sunny Leone with clothes on is jarring. If that wasn't odd enough, Sunny's sense of fashion looks like it belongs in the Eighties and we mean the back alley fashion of the Eighties!

It's safe to assume that Zoya Akhtar's sister-in-law Adhuna is not cutting her hair or giving her style tips, because the filmmaker is a walking, screaming fashion faux pas in this hobo look.
