Swedish artist Michael Johansson creates a fascinating sculptures made from ordinary objects induce the same internal Nintedo soundtrack. Using found objects such as books, luggage and other everyday materials in tight geometric shapes in absolutely marvelous. Johansson produces structures that depict an almost perfect cube, textured throughout with various hues and materials. The artwork are packed between two buildings or piled into abandoned closets, archways, door jambs o windows, the artist carefully organized disused objects to fill out the spaces perfectly. The brilliant artwork presents the audience with recognizable objects in new light, altering their meaning outside of their original quotidian context.
