Hotspots: Where you should be to get hired

India tops the ranking of economies looking to expand their workforces in 2013. Looking ahead, global economic uncertainty continues to depress business hiring plans, according to the Grant Thomson International Business Report.

  India
    India tops the list with 62 net percentage in terms of businesses hiring workers to operate during this year. According to the National Association of Software and Services Companies, Indian IT industry employed 2.8 million professionals at the end of 2011.

  Georgia
    Georgia is a sovereign state in the Caucasus region of Eurasia. Although the country is known to have high unemployment rate, 59 net percentage of businesses in this nation are expected to hire workers this year.

    Peru
    The economy of Peru is classified as upper middle income by the World Bank and 59 net percentage of businesses in this region plan to hire people in 2013.

  Turkey
    Unemployment in Turkey has fallen over the last few years. According to the report, 55 net percentage businesses are expected to be hire workers this year.

 Chile
    Public works projects helped reduce unemployment in Chile to a great extent. Fifty one net percentage of businesses in this country plan to employ workers in 2013.

 Brazil
    Brazil ranks number six in the list of countries where businesses plan to hire workers in 2013. According to the report, Brazil can expect 50 net percentage of businesses increase in employment through the year.

   Vietnam
    According to the International Monetary Fund, the unemployment rate in Vietnam stood at 4.46 percent in 2012. The Grant Thronton International Business Report suggests that 44 net percentage of businesses plan to hire workers in 2013.

  Botswana
    Botswana ranks number eight on the list of countries where businesses plan to hire workers in 2013. According to the report, this country can expect 43 net percentage of businesses to hire workers this year.

    The Republic of Armenia is a country in the South Caucasus region of Eurasia and 42 net percentage businesses are planning to hire workers in 2013.

    A major section of Thailand’s labor force is employed in agriculture, however 41 net percentage of businesses plan to hire employees during this year.
